Brake noise!

Ok so, my 15 CP when I got it, the brakes were so annoying and the Brake squeal was just super loud!

I took it in the dealer to do my 1200 mile service, told hem about it, they did the SIB and it still has some noise.. 1000 x better then before, but its still there!

Any tips or tricks or is this just how its going to be?

So embarrassing pulling up to lights with all this noise.

I have the same issue here. Its normal unfortunately. Has happened on every performance car I have owned. Best thing to do is insure your rotors / brakes are clean. Changing the brakes to aftermarket is a possible solution. I know on my ZL1, I changed from Brembo to Hawk Performance and my noises went away. No guarantee from what I have seen though.

Thats too bad, I know there was a SOB for it, and I got it done.
Noise went away for about 100 miles then came back and same frequency as before.
Its embarassing as hell, coming up to every stop sign/light/stop just squeeling like the car has 200k miles.

I have huge amounts but only when you're following other traffic who are constantly light braking in town etc....

Never an issue when using them properly or on a run, I just think they don't like lots of light pressure but sometimes you can't avoid it.

common on light pressure not so much on hard stops....so now i just do more abrupt stops instead of slowing down lol

I live in Los Angeles. I just bought my first M car, a 2015 M5 CP. I love the car, HATE the brakes. At 400 miles I took it in, and my awesome dealership did the SIB...tried their best I do believe. But it didn't do jack. So very embarrassing to pull to valet or an intersection with my brakes screaming that high pitched squeal.
It's a bummer. Why did the engineers let these cars out of the factory with such a glaring problem??

The same thing is happening with M3/4 ceramic brakes. Mine squeal uncontrollably. I think they use a similar front rotor. I get the squeak noise over bumps as well. BMWs first attempt at fixed calipers is not going well at all lol

Thats hilarious, everything you said I felt the same way.
FELT because I got it fixed.

Tell the dealer to replace your front brake pads, and it will go away, been 1k miles no squeal.
