You should go to the M school, you get to do that for 2 days in a controlled environment. Expensive, but best fun I've had in a car.

Hi Guys,

I am new to BMW and this forum in which to meet fellow M5 owners. I recently purchase a new 2014 M5 competition and to be honest I love it. But prior to dealer pick up dealer had 1200 mile service done on car. I asked why was this done car has 60 miles on it and his response was it was done due to time not mileage. This means for the next 10,100 plus miles will have to be driven prior to service. I am worried that the break in period is being ignored and I might possibly loose power train warranty.
Please respond to any ideas you might have regarding my concern.
I know that I should have started a new thread and topic but at present being a new member web site is not allowing me to do so. It might be best to respond to my personal e mail which is archonomics@aol.com.
