Laser Interceptor install Qs

A few Qs on a DIY install of this system.

Without actually receiving the unit yet, so pardon the ignorance here (without reviewing install instructions) but can anyone answer a few basics....

- what location is the "brain" usually tucked/attached (haven't seen any pictures of this)? Many pictures of RD integrated installs but not much of this system other than on/off button and sensor locations
- is there a specific area where the wires are pulled through the firewall? Drivers side or passenger...or...
- Regarding powering up I have fuse tapped my RD already, is it possible to re-tap this same wire or just try to tap another fuse. Curious if both systems can run on the same fuse?..

Any other thoughts/tips would be appreciated.
