told them thanks for their time. i fucking hate selling a car, because now i have to find one and part of that is dealing with this garbage

So far, most stealers are delusional regarding the prices on these cars. When I was trying to make reasonable deals that included my 146k '14 M6GC, stealers were pricing my year and a half old M6 for as low as 68, most were in the real low 70s this past Spring - you guys know the deal, auction/wholesale numbers were used and not kbb/nada/etc. Their stated reason.......... "well, the market really sucks for these high end cars and BMWs lease program isn't helping the situation". Car was mint and had everything. I even have an email from a BMW manager stating that they couldn't support a higher trade number on these high end Ms. Now these effn clowns are sitting there collecting cars and barely budging on their asks for a car that will be 10Gs less in value by May. Wait till the awd M5s get officially announced and they hit the streets. These cars prices might go into a vacuum mode south! That's why they should be dealing these like cards with anybody thats truly offers a respectable number at them. Sheesh. If any of us acted like this in our place of employment (if you work that is), we would be shown the door. Inventory needs to move out, not sit outside in the fucking hail storms. Haha.

Too much coffee, this am. Sorry.

No one should be paying over $52000 for ANY 2013 M5 no matter what OEM options or miles.
$55000 max with CPO into mid 2019.
And even at those prices the demand is non existent
A few more 13s and 14s past week to add to the ones not moving. Saw two changes on prices by $500 to $1000. There is a bare base one in Sahara beige no exec 19 inch wheels no CPO out of warranty $46.7 and firm on that price with under 40k miles. Who is fucking going to buy that POS, BARE BONE no exec no driver asst no BO no 20s ---cheap ass owner and early bird boca raton beige to boot--maybe if you are collecting SS this would appeal to you and sipping from a straw. Oh and of course no full leather lol. A mini dealer in jersey selling it, their sister BMW shop tossed to them to sell.

That was funny. Keep'em comin. Since it's winter, it's not helping sellers. At some point they need to give in. But when......... Another M5 refresh news leak for 2018s will also make them head to the toilet.

What sources are you all using for finding used m5's? Currently I've been hawking:

TrueCar
AutoTrader
Cars.com
BMW PO/CPO

I also know that sometimes on the BMW website, individual BMW Dealers do not post their used inventory. So it's a bonus if you find a vehicle that isn't easily searchable. BMW Roswell does that a lot.

All kidding and bashing aside, why aren't the 2013 and 2014 M5 moving at all from NC to NH. Its got to be more than price point and weather. I mean these aren't moving....new ones come on every week. A lot of them aren't getting CPO even though the carfax and maintenance are clean. I have asked dealers and they just dont want the liability of CPO on them. Crazy...Many are 45-90 days old, some 2013s are 150-300 days. There are some bad seeds in the mix but small %s.

Remember, the one who blinks first loses. They must drop'em (negotiate) at some point. They might be thinking they have another year to get the $$ since the refresh isn't available till early '18? Or is it late '18? Don't matter, they are not getting their ask in most cases (always a dumbass or 2 that will pay top $$). I'm working a potential deal and purposely stalling. If it goes to someone thats nervous (wants to pay their ask or even near it) so be it. There's more coming.

Those new ones arent coming off the board either.

No CPO $65k
As u know I have intently watched now since mid Sept FL to NH building on copious spreadsheets and ghosting negotiations with many many dealerships
I've seen 5k 12k 16k with comp packs fold down to mid 60 with CPO and low 60 without
One guy had listed for $72k and was ready to take $65 on my first offer.
Please stand strong and wait.
No one is buying 2013-2014 because prices are sooooo inflated
Need to come down another 5k and they will sell and be competitive
Good advice. I am waiting.
