Nice! I might have missed it but did you remove your front plate? I saw one pic that had the front license plate and then it was gone.

Nope that wasn't me. Like I said. I hardly take out my M5 anymore. I did take it out last Saturday to Cars and Coffee in Great Falls, but I got there real late. I did meet Post Member ICE7 though.

For now my Fiat 500 Abarth is a blast to drive in city traffic and I get so much attention in it. I'm so glad I have it here in this ridiculous traffic. And don't worry I'll be stretching the M5's legs soon enough. I've got some track days coming up and it doesn't matter where I live, I'll always find the best roads to drive, it's just what I do.

Dude.
Duuuude!

EPIC trip. Excellent write-up.

I have nothing to add that wasn't already said but will echo the sentiments --

- makes one appreciate how beautiful the United States really is in so many places
- some epic / amazing roads you got to drive!
- loved the video going up the coast - I've done that drive from LA to Laguna Seca on a motorcycle many times up the coast and backroads and it's one of the most beautiful drives in the world, along with the greats such as Amalfi Road in Italy and Great Ocean Road in Australia (for the views and breathtaking scenery).

Best of luck in your new chapter in Washington.

I've been in Florida 6 years and not a day goes by I don't miss California.

When my i8 comes in, I'll be taking delivery in California and will road-trip it to Florida with some zig-zags in between.
Your write up has given me some ideas, not the least of which is to install a clear-bra before the trip

Awesome man. Must have been fun.

What is your camera setup for recording your driving? I want to get that.

Wow! An i8! That would be EPIC!!! Just hope that you don't run out of electricity! Haha! No just kidding, I know they are not full electric.

Truth be told I have no idea how I will tackle that challenge in the more rural areas. This trip will take more planning than I usually care to do, but hey the challenge is part of the fun!

The electric-only won't get me very far and the way I tend to drive my range will probably be 150 miles to a combined tank/charge
