Why delays in shifts happen?

My car is 2015 and only 1.300 km passed and never did WOT, but in S3 mode sometimes delay is happening. I press the paddle and it shifts after 0.5 or more seconds. It happens sometimes. How can I fix that?

Please help!

Other way round mate, I think you may get a surprise when you try S3.

OP Shouldn't hesitate, mine's instant, never had a delay in S3.
Dealer?

Agree with all of that. Get the car checked out. Maybe get the transmission software flashed.

I will go and visit the dealer. It happens sometimes and it is really annoying it makes the takes away the bad a$$ feel to it.
You think dealer can find something? It's probably software thing not hardware I think l.

Yes. It works like the e 60. Push button once, push peddle all the way down for at least 6 seconds. At least that's what I was told before. Someone correct me if it's wrong

Thank a lot M6-coupe. How about a reset process with shift paddles on the steering wheel? I remember something similar was with smg in e60 m5 you remember?
