Does the 3d design front lip/spoiler/splitter lower the clearance at the front of the car?

It doesn't change the height but it does stick out further and therefore on ramps, steep dips/decents on the road or speed bumps etc may become things to watch out for

The one I had was the RKP front lip. With it I was scraping a lot more. About a month ago I went out of a really steep driveway and couldn't avoid scraping, but the lip cracked and I ended up throwing it away. Waste of money IMO.

thats why I want the splitters that BMW do for the M3 on the M5, no such issues. A bunch of guys with front lips on M3's had a nightmare time on our Alpine Run road trip.

I have the RKP lip on my car.
As has been mentioned you have to be careful with steep inclines / bumps

Just had some beautiful 20" BBS FI's added. The breaking and cornering difference is MASSIVE. I can't believe how quickly the car comes to a stop with these. I guess thats what a 10lb. per corner reduction does...

Got a few new goodies installed today. Photos coming soon.

- KW V3 coilovers
- CP front & rear sway bars
- LCI front grille w/ painted tri M
- Changed out BBS center caps to red/gold

The ride quality is SOOO much better then the previous setup w/ H&R springs. The CP sway bars have really leveled the car out in corners. Probably the two best upgrades I've done for the money.
