Is merino leather coared or non coated?

Looking at products to condition and protect my merino leather.

I was wondering first if the merino leather seats are coated or non coated.

It's a natural leather. Not coated.

HMM, are you sure about that? IIRC, most automotive leathers are coated. If it wasn't coated then the leather would absorb water and turn darker when wet.

Awesome, I just cleaned it via leather master strong cleaner and boars hair brush, and applied leather master vital (conditioner) after I got your answer! Thanks buddy.

I didn't apply any protectant as I don't know of any UV protectant. My side windows are tinted, and the windshield defends against uv rays, so I think im in the clear for that, even tho my car rarely sees sun.

Is it necessary to use leather master vital on the leather after cleaning it with leather master strong cleaner?

Leather masters vital left a lil bit of a shine to the leather, leather looked great after just cleaning it.
