Windshield Film and HUD

Has anyone put window film on the front window (windshield)?
I am curious if and how this may or may not affect the HUD.

i had it on my last m5. doesnt affect it at all. im getting it on this one as well as soon as i can schedule time to get the car tinted.

I have tinted every windshield I have owned for 15 years. I need to do this also

I did see/read a lot about it and alot of people say you can see the HUD better an possibly helps a little with polarized glasses when the tint is installed.

I will follow up when mine is done after my oil pump fix and let you know how it goes

I can't live without windshield tint or my costa del mar glasses...
