One time my teen age daughter tripped on the seat belt getting out of the M3 and she would have done a nasty face-plant had I not caught her. Two doors are fine for two people, and coupes look nice, but give me four doors every time...well at least until my son goes to college and I get that beautiful F Type V8 coupe!
Haha. I'm with you on all points

Congrats! Plenty of us with kids here. I only have the base extended leather which means my seat backs are plastic which is a blessing (less damage and easier to clean). I'd recommend investing in a car seat protector (we have the Britax one for ~$20), and thanks to Stealth Pilot on here I'd also highly recommend Leather Masters product (regular which is matte and not glossy)... Works and smells great! I may end up buying seat back protectors anyway as their little feet are always there!

Congrats! Great looking car. The light interior is gorgeous and thought about it myself, but wearing denim and especially with 3 kids, can easily stain the leather.
