He was just responding to it the way he did because of the way she approached love. She treats love as a business transaction so he responded using the same ideal.
Anyways, our cars and relationships are only a depreciating asset if that's what you see them as. A 2013 M5 has suffered horrible depreciation on the market for those that are for sale, but for those 2013 M5's not on the market, they have suffered no depreciation because they are not for sale. Same goes for the opposite sex and relationships I suppose. You know that old saying, "you only realized what you had once you lost it." Many country songs talk about this. Lol! This is how I see things. Others may differ.

Being in my mid 20s you start seeing girls realize they aren't the hot s*s they were between 18-23 and they start realizing the clocks ticking Both of these things I find hilarious lol he was just trying to set her straight and hopefully it sunk in because it sure will when she's in her 30s/40s and the pickings get even slimmer. On our cars the value you would receive would be heavily dependent on personal preference I.E. some people will spend 100k lose 20k and say it was worth it and think nothing of it. I lost probably 30k on the m5 and I'd say after driving it for 5 months (longest streak owning a car in awhile lol) it was really worth 15-20k of acceptable loss for how I enjoyed the car during my time frame. Others here might lose 60k,80k over the lifetime and feel it was totally worth it. So again all about personal tolerance and valuation. Last edited by M5Rlz; 04-14-2014 at 09:25 AM.. |

Yeah, it isn't the CEO of JP. If he would have written it, he wouldn't have spelled 'advise' wrong.
Also, see here... http://www.snopes.com/love/dating/golddigger.asp
