The cars you do list are understated, and with just the 5 you list below, people won't be offended. I agree 100% that putting the M6 Gran Coupe and the E60 M5 in that list would cross the threshold to poor taste such that someone (not me, of course) would take offense.
Not sure if its maturity or if I deal with enough idiots at work that I don't want to come on here and listen to some body tell me I'm stuck up or etc. I worked for these cars, bought hem cash, and not to brag but I'm 32 and went to a pretty crappy college. School doesn't make you money, your drive, that does.

Garage List
diablo, I was just posting about the brake issue in agreement with others. I have had the brake squeak for a while and listed it as an issue at my 12,000 mile service last week. Predictably, they took the car out for a spin and said they couldn't replicate the problem. Of course it wasn't squeaking at the time and of course it started squeaking again yesterday.....

I don't know why you left that detail out of all your prior posts, you couldn't keep me from sharing that exceptional car with others. You really have a lot of restraint, which I admire.

But, I'm confused? Above, you said your squeaky brake problem was fixed, but its posted from a different account, with the name "wrsbmw"? And that account says you live in Texas?

I did enjoy your M5 pic from that thread, though. Here it is. You sure killed a lot of bugs on that extended run in the middle of the road at 157mph.

So, you have TWO M5s? And you live part time in New Jersey, and part time in Texas? I'm quite envious. Do you commute in the M5 between, or just leave one in each state? I confess, I would probably drive the M6 Gran Coupe instead. Nothing against the M5, but the M6 is just so sleek.

And, I'm finding it hard to keep track of your amazing collection. Help me here. You said you currently own the following:

2013 F10 ///M5 Space Grey on Black
2010 E92 ///M3 Frozen Grey on Red
2013 E84 X1 ///M-Sport Mineral Grey Metallic on Beige
2014 F32 435 ///M-Sport Black on Red
1997 Saab 9000 Turbo Black on Black
E60 M5
and of course, the Black M6 Gran Coupe in the pics, above.

(guilty admisssion: am I the only one that thinks the Saab 9000 is the ugly duckling in that group? Something about it seems out of place. Of all your cars, I find it most difficult to believe that you ACTUALLY own a 1997 Saab. I'm sorry, but that detail is just stretching your credibility a bit too far.)

Astonishing. How could you not have blessed us with your ownership experiences with so many amazing BMWs over the last year, having just joined the forum yesterday. Or maybe last year, under the username "wrsbmw".

Lol I just fully read this, the Saab is my snow car, although the X1 would work as well, but when the roads are white, covered in salt and other disgusting gush, its nice to have a beater, but your right, it doesn't really fit in my drive way, then again its still running strong after 260K, which gives it a certain pan-ash in my mind at least.

This is a common problem in m cars but had to say it is the worse in M5 coz the noise really stupid . I have the same issue in my 2013 M5 and use to have it even in my X6m . The break is fine no need for replacement . 2 years ago my friend was complaining from the same and the local dealers gave him a special spray that he can apply after washing the the the breaks from any sand or dust . He recommended to apply it when breaks are not hot after coming home at night and then in the morning when u drive it will be ok . I dont remember the spray name but it is a kind of DW40 .

Did this as soon as squeals started occurring - gone after doing it.

Weird thread
Why bashing the man that much!
I have squealing issue too after raining kr washing the car and braking really hard takes care of it for a few weeks...

We should have respect for each other and yeah we need to be careful and not believe everything we read here but maintain our cool and be respectful of each other.

My 2 cents
Happy Memorial to you all -

I had the that issue. BMW dealer changed the front rotors and brake pads with no success. Then they called BMW NA and got advised to install the special pads. They ordered parts and installed them after 1 day waiting for parts. The issue was solved for a week or two and then again came back. I tried the Bed-in process and it worked for me for weeks and then came back. After reading several threads and seeing this is almost common issue so many people are experiencing, I accepted it. I'm dealing with this problem and am trying to not take it as a major problem. I accepted the fact that M cars are not treating like normal cars
