diablo, I was just posting about the brake issue in agreement with others. I have had the brake squeak for a while and listed it as an issue at my 12,000 mile service last week. Predictably, they took the car out for a spin and said they couldn't replicate the problem. Of course it wasn't squeaking at the time and of course it started squeaking again yesterday.....

This is a common problem in m cars but had to say it is the worse in M5 coz the noise really stupid . I have the same issue in my 2013 M5 and use to have it even in my X6m . The break is fine no need for replacement . 2 years ago my friend was complaining from the same and the local dealers gave him a special spray that he can apply after washing the the the breaks from any sand or dust . He recommended to apply it when breaks are not hot after coming home at night and then in the morning when u drive it will be ok . I dont remember the spray name but it is a kind of DW40 .

Did this as soon as squeals started occurring - gone after doing it.

Weird thread
Why bashing the man that much! I have squealing issue too after raining kr washing the car and braking really hard takes care of it for a few weeks... We should have respect for each other and yeah we need to be careful and not believe everything we read here but maintain our cool and be respectful of each other. My 2 cents Happy Memorial to you all - |

I had the that issue. BMW dealer changed the front rotors and brake pads with no success. Then they called BMW NA and got advised to install the special pads. They ordered parts and installed them after 1 day waiting for parts. The issue was solved for a week or two and then again came back. I tried the Bed-in process and it worked for me for weeks and then came back. After reading several threads and seeing this is almost common issue so many people are experiencing, I accepted it. I'm dealing with this problem and am trying to not take it as a major problem. I accepted the fact that M cars are not treating like normal cars
