Rear TV screens
I'm looking to add some form of rear tv screens to my f10 m5 and Im currently not considering the iPad option etc...
Basically, because I've got a real good opportunity to buy the genuine BMW screens (2014) version really really cheap and all I need to do is to figure out how to install them so I have a couple of questions for those in the know 1) How will they actual work - are they hard wired to the unit up front and controlled by that? 2) Does the sound come out through main speakers 3) How much approx would BMW charge to do this kind of retrofit if I am supplying the parts Thanks Bru |

So you would need to retrofit that unit along with all the wiring. |

My only issue with that is that it just looks bolted on as opposed to a factory option
Anyways, doesn't look like I can do it anyway as BMW have told me its not possible |

BMW says retrofitting NBT's into E-series vehicles is impossible, yet it's dome every day. |

I think your right..Lets assume its not too expensive and I want to do the work...Im not sure I could get a BMW dealer to do the work...
Im sure an audio shop would be willing to do the work but it would then invalidate my warranty |

I know there's an official retrofit for RSE on the F01/F02 (I have the document for that) but never saw one for the F10. |
