They're driving it to me though, 37 miles. It is leased so I don't technically own it, but although all my costs are rolled into monthly price I saw £700 delivery on a document that is bound to be passed onto me in the monthly.

I'd walk 37 miles to get it for £700.
No problem with the Oil useage then, they will thrash the balls off it.

I know. At the same time, given it goes back in 2 years, I'm sure I'll take it easy.....

So much smoother than my E92 M3, much more of a 'grown up' car. I love all the gadgets and adjustability, and the professional nab system and the touch pad are so much better. My E92 was a 2011 and the software etc is streets ahead. Best thing though is the way it goes…2000rpm, give it a bootful, and there is no fuss or drama, just some very high speeds! Nice noise too!

Do not take traction control completely off and floor it as it could be a bad situation.

Very nice Mark,
Those 19s really suit the car, and in the best colour, of course. I know you will be thrilled the first time you open the taps properly. Good advice above, re the traction control, as this car is a torque monster, regards, SIMON.

I also like the '19 wheels. Very sporty IMHO.

Its funny, before I went to the dealership I had made my mind up to order 20" wheels, based on images on line and in the brochure. When I saw the car in real life I liked the 19" wheels better, from a looks point of view. I then drove one with 19 and one with 20" wheels and the ride quality was better on the 19s. Decision made!
