M5 F10 Won't lock
Hello! M5 F10 owner here. I bought my car January 2021. Everything were fine, till last week where my car couldn't lock anymore. So I tried almost everything - checked the fuses, replace the driver comfort access, went to the local dealer and they said nothing wrong in diagnostics, sometimes the car locks, but its been 3 days since the car is unlocked and I'm worried. No problems with unlocking, but when I try to lock her, some weird beep sound and nothing also on the dashboard the transmission is sitting in N. If anyone have faced such problem to share his experience and give me advice what should be done. Thanks in advance!

One of your door handles is most likely bad. Take the remote away from the car, and manually lock with the key. If it locks, it's one of the door handles.

Tried that, but it is not working. Something weird is when I turn off the car she is not switching to P so maybe its a transmission problem.... its always on N , I think she was switching to P when I turn the engine off. |

just for information.
The car will not lock if in N, this is probably some sort of safety feature so that the car won't roll away when parked. It won't lock and will give you an audible "warning", as you described as a weird beep. Purpose is so that you will then put the car in P before leaving it. If you have an issue with the lock out module like you described, then obviously you need to get the unit replaced. But the car is doing exactly what it's supposed to do.

If your car won’t go into park when you shut off the car, it’s probably a bad megatronics. Your car won’t lock because it’s not in park, that’s why it beeps when you try to lock it.
