Ok guys, just hit the 1200 mile mark after taking delivery a few weeks back. Run in service is booked in for Monday :-)
One thing I've just noticed though...
In the rear, one of the fan speed dials on the back of the center console does not illuminate ( or appear to have) the 'Auto' written on it. My OCD has kicked in and it annoys me lol
Is this normal? Should both dials have Auto lit up when the lights are switched on? I've taken a pic so you can see, but also to email BMW in case they need to replace this next week!

Thanks guys!

Ps sorry I don't know why it attached the same pic twice!

What you are looking at is correct. The "Auto" in the rear this selections the rear fan speed and blower location settings automatically (Mid B pillar/center, floor or both) They are not different left or right in the rear as the front.

So the auto should only be on the left? I assumed both dials per formed the same function? No?

Yes they do, but Auto puts both zones in Auto. You can't have the left on auto and the right on manual. I think the same principle applies in the front of the car.

Which is why I'd expect the right dial to have Auto aswell, to show both zones in auto. Just looks odd with the light on one side and not the other :-/
Luckily I'm driving so don't get to see it ha ha

its because the rear has one fan, whereas the front there are two fans. Hence the auto on one side only.

Walshy what are your impressions of the car after 1200 miles?

Would be good to hear your thoughts, positives and negatives thus far
