Looking at all the videos I am wondering if you will be able to take advantage of all the grip if you get the manual transmission over the new DCT? Like the E60 it looks like this car will be at its best with the DCT transmission.

Isn't this the same with the M3 as well? For the performance aspect alone, I thought DCT was the best option.

why the hell does it rev so much lower than its predecessor. What a shame this is like the first M that has actually gone down in revs in the new generation. This is a disappointment.

The new M5 at it's optimum, is with the M-DCT with Drivelogic.
That is the transmission the car was engineered to comply with.

Finally a M5 that will be as good as E39 M5.

Sizzling hottt! Looks to be a successor to the E39 M5 than the E60 M5.

Theres something a little more badass about a screaming 5.0L V10 @ 8250 rpm than a 4.4L TT V8. Seriously, if i were an m5 owner why would i want to give up my m5 for a heavier, quieter, more costly car. For just 80 more hp and a little faster shifting tranny?

I am really considering buying this car.... I just in with my M3 and I don't think I can't afford to keep both.
Although my wife always wanted a 4-door ///M
