My initial thoughts are that those quotes "suck". I haven't seen anyone here paying $1600+ per month lately.

Like the guy above me said: MSRP (options on the car) and MF would be helpful.

Msrp on the car i built was 102395.

I emailed those quotes to another dealer (who is popular on here) and he said "run away"

So i asked him to make a deal for me, they should be trying to give m5s away now.

I think for the 36 Mo and that msrp you should be well under $1200 all in with MSDs - and that's if you order the car. Can probably do better if you find one on the lot.

Those numbers suck for a car with an MSRP of only 102k. What is the cap cost and MF quoted?

Contact Greg Poland at Pacific BMW and get a quote.

Those number are about right for that deal.
My advice is to consider the vehicle and options that you truly want. On a 100k+ vehicle it is very important to get the color, int color, and all options that you want. Those items are much more important than the MSRP or a couple dollars + or - on the payment.
On a 103k car the options are going to be very limited.
I'm not sure if you've talked with Greg Poland yet but I would suggest you contact him.
He just sent me this deal which is a much more highly optioned car with a similar cap cost and albeit only for 24 months.
Check it out and weigh your options...
Obviously you don't have to do the MSD's or cap reduction which will raise your payment.
If that doesn't work I'm sure he can find a car that works for you.
I bought MY15 M5 from him and after finding the right car I was in and out in about 30 mins worth of paperwork. Great guy and no bullshit or surprises!!

thanks momos for that input! i have not yet contacted him.

i'll be real honest with ya, the only package i need is the executive to get those new lights. lol. if i could have a barebones m5 i would. i just want the black 20's. they look so good with MCB or SO. i didn't add anything else. except when i get it (jb4 etc.) LOLL. call me a simple man.

anyway, i'm not putting any money down or msd's, so basically all that is coming out of my pocket is 1023 or 967 depending on ED or regular delivery. this is kinda my main goal. less money out of my pocket. i always buy my cars cash, so this is a first for me.

Hopefully these numbers are accurate, i may gave your guy a call today and see what he can do also. what is your name for reference?

I would think Euro Delivery would be cheaper, that's not a bargaining chip for the dealer. Negotiate your msrp then ED should come off that (unless your dealer does not have the allocation and is relaying the cost to you).

I previously hated leasing too, but BMW leases are too hard to turn down if you like a new car every few years. I know you said your goal is to put nothing down, but MSDs really are beneficial. To monetize it, I'm putting down $7700 in MSDs for my wife's X5M, that equates to $3,080 in savings over the lease. It's not a down payment either, it comes back to you.

is the "sale price" in this case what the dealer is charging me i.e- "invoice price"?

The ED price is about $1700 under dealer invoice and the normal delivery is about $1600 over invoice.
Invoice should be pretty close to $93,180.

Wow! That first quote is very high. I am paying $1200 including my 115k msrp M5 and my wife's 328 msport wagon. And that is without any msd's down.

I would look for any remaining 2015 M5s.

You may be able to get an additional 2k if you are a USAA member, plus 500 additional discount if leasing...... Check USAA for details.

Please elaborate, thx

Edit - I see it, guess that won't work on the X5M since I'd have to forgo the BMW lease rebate.

Those numbers are just awful. Did you go to Braman West Palm? You need to talk to a Bimmerfest sponsor to get a good deal. Your build should be closer to 1000-1100 a month without MSD's and just first month, tag and acquisition due at signing. Let me know if you want to talk to my contacts. I have a couple of great ones.

Greg Poland is one of the people I was going to suggest. Give him a call. Your build can be had in the 1000-1100 range.
