Who the hell designed those atrocious wheels. I mean, normally I'm open to opinions. But there is not craftsmanship that went into those rims. Looks like a set of oversized winter rims.

Lol ouch, sorry dude.

I always wait for the LCI/ZCP editions at least. I don't pay attention enough to know when "anniversaries" of cars are. But this one sounds very cool. I look forward to seeing one on the road.
I couldn't stand the steering vibration on my 13, or the fact that my brother got a 14 lol. So I needed something to one up him. I'll wait for the anniversary edition next generation hahaha.

I'd like to know how many of folks around this forum would pay for this car at this very point knowing the Generation is just about to become obsolete?
And what happens to the value of this car when the new M (G-11) comes out???
That's not a reason to not buy this. The depreciation of upgrading is nothing compared with the net depreciation cost of spending on mods.

New model is still a few years away and many here replace their cars every 1-3 years. I have been doing annual updates.

Personally I wouldn't buy this because it has a black interior and I loathe black interiors. I also dislike alcantara. I wish they had a few alternative interior options including leather interiors with no Alcantara like Porsche offered on the GT3.

The G80 M5 will not be on the market until late 2017.
Ample time to enjoy this car.

Great package, and 592hp, just wow! 2013 owners are getting slapped in the face with every passing year. First the competition package, now this. What will 2016 bring?

A part of me wants to upgrade my 2013 M5 to the 30th edition or 2015 M5, but this would only make sense if I plan to keep the new M5 for a very long time. But I know as many of us can relate that once the new G80 M5 hits the street, we'll be trading in our current M5s for the latest and greatest.

Current BMW philosophy indicates that the new M5 will be lighter and more powerful, likely over 600hp. Not to mention that the new F80 M3 is going to be a monster.

Decisions Decisions!!!!!!!!

I wonder if you can really feel the extra 32hp in a car that already has 560. Not like adding 32hp to a car with 250...

Not sure why everyone is impressed with this car putting out 600 hp when the current car puts 600+ hp already.

Nice. This first time that BMW has given a special edition car more power in... forever?

Adding more power to a car that already has more power than you could ever safely use on public roads to begin with? I don't see the point. Forget adding horsepower. They should make a special edition that's 600 lbs lighter!

Who knows? It might be they just leave it as is and say it has more power.

Either one gets you to where you say it's not safe (faster).

Less weight gets you more than just a quicker car. It also makes for a nimbler driving experience, which is to say, a car that's more fun to drive.
