I put the Turner Axle back on my 2013 M5. Sounded great but was a bit too loud for me. There was some drone 1800-2300 rpm. It's only bad if you're slowly cruising with low revs.

I swapped out the Turner for a Corsa system which included rear mufflers. It's great for me. Louder than stock. Right in the middle of stock and the Turner muffler delete.

In you want to drive to the Jersey Shore, I've got the Turner system for sale. Pick up only. Make me an offer. 1,500 miles on the Turner - like new condition.

Do you have no drone when the valves are closed? it is unresonated though?

Just installed mine and i cannot really hear any drone at all. I hear the exhaust SLIGHTLY at 1500-1800 cruising but just barely. Sounds absolutely wicked when you get on it! Cold start up is deafening but then settles down to a fairly quiet rumble. Wide open its still quieter than a stock F430 and has less drone. I'm not sure how anyone but an old lady would have a problem with the super subtle drone at low revs. Its maybe a few DB louder than stock on the highway. Thats it. I love the sound its intoxicating!

Agreed. Installed mine over the weekend and there is momentary drone/resonance at that range. Other than that, is sounds great to me. BIG change over stock, and that's why it seems so loud. Loving it once I got used to it. I have a 6 sp., and it's almost silent at cruising speeds. Loving it.

Maybe one day for adaptation. I think it pulls a little better now, or is it the aural sensation?

It's breathing now. Stock exhaust is restrictive. The one u have now flows better.

Still just burns tires in 1-2-3 and seems about the same to me. I don't feel any loss or gain in the butt dyno but i have only about 40 miles on it since installing. Sound is absolutely perfect. Reminds me a lot of the F430 sound which is a very good thing.

If I were to get rid of my Eisenmann Race exhaust and move to the Turner, would I notice a more aggressive sound?

Perhaps unplug the adaptive sound? Less drone?

I have the Turner muffler delete which I use in the summer time. With the windows down it's intoxicting in Sport mode. If you drive the car and smoothly bring the revs up to 4500 and shift in low gears it sounds fantastic around town. The thunder claps become ridiculous!!

I got it because it's lightweight, cheap and frees up some power paired with the AMS Catless downpipes. Cold start is very loud but you can feather the throttle to lessen the sound. Drone is there from 1800 to 2100 or so. You essentially don't drive the car in auto with this exhaust, as auto bogs along to save fuel and lives in the resonance zone. I still averaged 17.1 with the setup keeping the car in the optimal gear. I disconnected the active sounds long ago and it was nice just to hear real exhaust.

Sitting in traffic is the only time you can't really avoid hearing the drone.
But aside from that, my car made 650whp with JB3 at 3psi, AMS downpipes on 93 pump. So it helps pull weight out and flows better than most more expensive units.
I personally love the sound of the AMS catless with stock exhaust and Exhaustmeister. It's a luxury car with bark when I want it. When I do roll racing in the summer I can just clamp on my Turner.

Old thread now, but I've had my Turner's on for several months now.
I'd say once in a while on the freeway it gets to be a bit loud in 7th gear when you are doing 60, but other than that, this thing is awesome sounding..
