2013 M5 Alpine White / Sakhir Orange - Fully optioned with $40k in mods
2013 F10 M5 DCT Alpine White / Sakhir Orange 58,000 Miles (updated July 2020) Fully optioned $107,995 MSRP $40,000 in mods 700hp I'm selling my 2013 M5 Alpine White / Sakhir Orange with 58,000 miles. Every factory option except night vision. The car has never been in an accident. All the paint is factory. Never had any mechanical or electrical problems. All recalls and factory recommended services done. Meticulously maintained. The car is pristine and has almost $40,000 in very tasteful parts on it. Every part was carefully chosen to be the best or provide a benefit. Nothing was added just for the sake of "more is better". All the parts were purchased new so there are no used or previously abused parts on the car. There are no knock-off or cheap parts, everything is top of the line or beyond. The car was carefully tuned and dialed in to be driven and perform. The suspension was adjusted at least 20 times before I got it just right. I have dedicated race cars so this car has never been tracked. I only use it to drop my kids off at school and commute to work where it's parked in a warehouse. I'm extremely OCD and the price reflects the condition and how well I've cared for the car. I didn't plan on selling the car soon so no expense was spared investing in the long term care. It has been garaged day AND night its entire life. Very rarely does it get parked outside for more than a few hours. The car was ceramic coated when I first got it and recently color corrected and another 4 layers of ceramic coating applied about 5000 miles ago. Even the wheels and brake calipers are ceramic coated. No scratches or swirl marks. The car is professionally washed monthly and the leather interior is cleaned and conditioned every 6 months. All the windows including windshield and moonroof are tinted with 3M Crystalline to reduce the amount of heat that enters the car. Even the wiper blades are changed annually as part or routine maintenance. The wheels were custom sized specifically for this suspension setup, no rubbing and paper flush to the fenders. They were designed to fit perfect with these tires, front camber arms, and alignment settings. The battery was recently replaced. New rear axles because one of the driveshaft boots had a tear in it and boots aren't available separately so axles were replaced as a precaution. DCT and diff service recently performed. New set of PS4S tires on the car. All documentation, receipts, and service history is available. All the original factory parts are in the original boxes for the aftermarket parts. Also included is an almost new set of factory pads and rotors. Factory Options: - Sakhir Orange Full Merino Leather (full leather dash and doors panels) - Driver Assistance Package (Lane Departure Warning, Active Blind Spot - Detection, Side and Top View Cameras) - Executive Package (Heated Steering Wheel, Power Tailgate, Comfort Access Keyless, Soft Close Automatic Doors All Four, Rear and Side Sunshades, Front Heated/Cooled/Active Seats, Rear Heated Seats, 4-zone Climate Control, Heads Up Display) - Bang And Olufsen Sound System (Upgraded 16-Speaker system) - M Light Alloy Wheels (not on the car but included) Aftermarket Parts: Exterior 3D Design Front Lip (Partially painted w/ exposed CF) $2,075.00 3D Design Side Skirts $2,749.00 3D Design Rear Diffuser (Partially painted w/ exposed CF) $2,310.00 IND Gloss Black M5 Trunk Badge $75.00 IND Pre-Painted Kidney Grills M5 LCI $455.00 IND Painted Side Grilles with Light Tinted Lens $230.00 IND Painted Reflectors $105.00 IND Painted Rear Reflectors $75.00 IND Painted Door Handles $200.00 Crystalline 70 Tint (incl Windshield & Moonroof) $1,300.00 LCI Tail Lights $970.90 Volk Racing TE37 Ultra Track Edition Forged Wheels $5,200.00 Volk Racing Center Caps + Adapter $160.00 BMS Titanium Lug Bolts $249.00 Michelin PS4S 275/305 $New Interior One-off ASM KARO Floor Mats $1,300.00 BMW LCI Steering Wheel $1,910.00 BMW LCI Nav Bezel $41.85 Coding $100.00 Nav Update $- Engine Akrapovic Titanium Exhaust $8,300.00 GruppeM Intake $2,641.00 ESS Tuning 700hp Flash Tune $1,349.00 Suspension Dinan Coilovers $1,699.00 Dinan Swaybars $999.00 Dinan Upper Camber Arms $1,235.00 Spoon Rigid Collar Front $265.00 Spoon Rigid Collar Rear $265.00 Brakes Red Painted Calipers (Stripped and Repainted) $800.00 New Rotors $1,600.00 Endless MX-72 Front Pads $525.00 Endless MX-72 Rear Pads $370.00 ECS Stainless Brake Lines $120.00 Aftermarket Parts Total: $39,673.75 Asking price as a package: $49,000 (Price lowered since the original post) Last edited by RevJunky; 07-15-2020 at 10:24 PM.. |

That's a well executed car, someone should buy and all they would need to do is some Lci headlights.you may need to consider parting out though, sometime it works out better, I've been modding cars for years and you gotta understand that when you do these mods you do it for you, most people not trying to pay half what you paid for your modifications .Glws

Beautiful car and build.
I am only trying to help you with your sell as I think it's a gorgeous car so don't take this the wrong way. If you don't need to sell then disregard. Before even talking about modifications, just the value of the car itself, is $5,000-7,000 less than what you have figured in, IMO. KBB is a great tool and it has it for $40,000-$41,000. As far as modifications, I think the price you have figured in isn't too far off. You're essentially asking for $15,000 for the modifications on top of the value of the car. I'd be surprised if someone is willing to pay almost 40% (37.8%) of what you paid for the modifications (you paid $39,673 and asking potential buyers to pay $15k). Asking closer to 30% ($12k) of what you paid for the modifications is more reasonable and a higher likelihood you can find a potential buyer. Usually when pricing a vehicle that has been modified to the extent this has, generally looking to recoup 30% or 1/3 of what you paid is a good place to start. Now, this isn't always the case, but it's a good place to start. Remember, parting it out will allow you to recoup much more money. The biggest challenge will be finding a buyer. You're limiting yourself to potential buyers big time. I would say 8/10 people that are in the market won't even consider this. That's not because it's ugly or anything negative, it's simply because it's either A) modded or B) not modded to their liking. You're going to have to find someone that loves the car exactly how it is and thinks your price is also fair. I think a realistic price range is somewhere around $52,000-$54,000 (give or take $2k). Again, you can get more by parting it out. If you don't need to sell it then that's one thing, but if you are wanting to or need to then I highly recommend listing the car more in line with the market range. Good luck with the sale!

Thanks for the input but $40,000 is bottom market range while $47,000 is top of the market range. I’m not sure how anyone can make an assessment without finding out more. If you want a bottom range car, go get one. If you are willing to pay more for pristine and extras, you’ll get what you pay for. If someone is remotely interested, I encourage them to look at it in person and talk to me and they will understand why. I want it to go to someone who will appreciate all my effort. I am willing to adjust the price to take mods off to suit the buyer but the car has been so perfectly tuned and engineered as is I wouldn’t want to upset the package. The minimum to get these custom sized wheels was 20pcs and they are perfect and designed to work with the front camber arms and this specific tire package with no spacers. You can barely fit a credit card between the fender and it has never rubbed. Weight distribution and scrub radius has been carefully calculated for optimal balance. There is so much detail put into the car it would be too much to list and I have all the records and even the tuning and engineering notes. The asking price is what I believe is the value of the car but I’m also willing to take reasonable offers.

To maximize profit I would list car for $45k and part it out. That way you could possibly net $60k.
For reference I sold my 2013 last month for $42k and it only had 28k miles and exact same MSRP. I only had about $12k in mods but the F10 M5 market is soft. |

Yes, they're custom one-off from Autobacs ASM Yokohama through KARO. It's one of one and not available to the public. They must be seen in person to appreciate. The price would actually be almost double if anyone else walked in and requested something similar.

Yes I know I could easily get more money overall if I part out but I spent a ton of time curating every piece and it’s perfect as a package. It’ll be to the benefit of someone who can appreciate it. However, if some time passes and I don’t find the right buyer, I will consider parting out.

Thank you. It’s not even a hassle, I can probably do it in a day at my office where the car is stored. It’s already parked under the lift. But I’m confident the package works so well I want some to reap the benefits of my work. I understand people have different budgets so I’m open to taking parts off to suit someone’s needs

Such a clean and tastefully modded car. If I could afford this right now, I'd be your guy but I'm a few months out before I can pull the trigger. I hate seeing cars like this before I can buy one. GLWS.

I feel you. I try to keep myself from looking at cars until I'm ready so I can save myself the frustration. But it's hard to resist.
