Holy hell, I mean obviously. It’s an expression dude. Was your intent of saying that to communicate to me that no engine series in the world is 100% defect-proof?!? Lol.

Stop telling OP to take his car to another dealer or try to lawyer up. He obviously weighed all options and the motor is getting rebuilt. WTF.

Anyhow, GL with Rebuild. Keep us posted.

lol Oh im sorry, that was great advice on telling the OP to take his car to another dealer while the motor was out. He should stop this whole operation and Fred Flinstone it over there. Forum away.

Did I tell the OP or ask a question? I clearly said its a moot point now in the very next sentence as well. Did you miss those parts or is reading difficult for you?

Yeah another dealer wasn't an option for me. Lawyers wanted too much for my taste, so I said screw it lets have some fun A very good friend of mine who is a master tech at a different dealership, said this is a known issue and BMWNA is finding anything they can to fight paying for it. BMW wanted over $40k to replace the motor

You're right! you clearly did ASK him to take the car to another dealer while you obviously seen the motor was out and apart.

It doesn't matter what you mentioned after. You're a condescending clown for that suggestion in the 1st place.

There was no condescending tone in my post, which is evidenced by the OP’s civil response to my civil post. I understand you are emotional since your car is broke. Maybe spend more effort on your own affairs and keep them in order. Any subsequent replies from me will be to you via PM, as OP doesn’t deserve to have his thread hijacked.

You're bored. I'm not going to argue with someone who made a fool of himself at Monaco Top Marques a couple years back. Personally, I thought you just needed more seat-time with the M3, tough crowd though.

In other news, OP, Good luck, I've heard nothing but good things about your installer. She'll be capable of 1000RWHP soon.

Bringing this from the dead.

Would these mods warrant a denial on the claim?
