Do rear 343m's fit over the front brakes?

Just something I'm thinking about, running M5 rear 20x10 34mm offset wheels at the front but of course I don't have access to a set of M5 rear wheels.

Anyone tried this at all, or for a box of virtual beers feel like trying it out for me?

I believe that to be correct too. But that in itself won't affect if the wheels can fit over the calipers, the design of the inside of the spokes is also quite important. I suspect I might need to run a 10mm spacer to achieve this.

Edit, just realised I typed in 32mm above, I meant 34mm for the rear.

Confirmed that rear 343's do not fit on the front of the car. Even tried with a 12mm spacer and it hits the lower control arm on almost full lock. It does clear the front calipers but hits the control arm.

Thank for that, is it number 7 or 11 in this picture?

I just happened to come across a set of 2x 20x10" rears and 1x 20x9" front for US$300 so I've bought them anyway Now I need to hunt down an M6 to buy!

It's strange! on the paper the difference is just 2 mm so with 12mm spacer you should be fine; however you need to have 275 or maximum 285 tire not 295.
285 tire on 343m 20x10 ET 34 and 12 mm spacer has the same distance from suspension side that 265 tire on 343m 20x9 ET 32 has... and ofcource stands 20 mm outer (closer to fender)

OP, I believe the 343M 20x10 ET34 will work on front using 275 tire and 10 mm spacer. It's 3 mm more distance to suspension and 12 mm closer to fender which is fine.

Depending on which arm we are talking about it could be the wheel or the tyre touching I guess, but much more likely the tyre which may only be applicable if running a 295/30/20.

I've found people running 265/35/20 with a 15mm spacer on an M6, if I went with 285/30/20 and 10mm spacer (the thinnest hub centric) I'd be running a 2mm shorter tyre than stock and compared to that setup with a 15mm spacer on 265/35/20 I'd be another 2mm further out which isn't a big deal and have 3mm less inner clearance compared to stock but it is also worth noting that people run 275/35/20 on the stock wheels on an M6 (which is also 3mm taller than stock) and those without spacers have 2mm less inner clearance.

Basically I'm sure I'll be absolutely fine with 285/30/20 on 20x10 34mm with a 10mm spacer. A 12mm should be fine too but might be starting to be a bit proud of the wheel arch.

I thought it would fit as well but it doesn't. I'm using 265/35/20 on the rear 343's as they are on snow tires and it hits the lower control arm on the front, even with the 12mm spacer. My other set with 20x9.5 25mm offset is perfect with no rubbing on the front.
