RPK front lips & one sells on Ebay???
Fellow M5 owners, please educate me on these follow items, is there any different beside the prices that some distribution vendor are charging? I want to order the one that cost less but wonder will there be a quality differences or just that vendor want to charges more because we M5 owners are willing to spend money senselessly???
F10 M5 RKP Front Lips for $1,295 + $50 Shipping. http://ind-distribution.com/ind/cate...port-front-lip Versus F10 M5 Carbon Fiber Front Lips for $330 + $70 Shipping. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-F10-M5-C...c44682&vxp=mtr --------------- F10 M5 LCI Front Grill Set at IND $411 + $16 http://ind-distribution.com/ind/cate...ront-grill-set Versus Genuine BMW F10 M5 LCI M Performance Gloss Black Grills at $298 + $12 http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=948839 In no way I want to bash the vendor but just wondering about overall quality, etc. |

Many (most?) of these parts are made in China - possibly even the RKP ones IND is selling.

You could buy this AC Schnitzer "style" rear diffuser for $149,99, but it's a knock off and does NOT have the fit and finish of the genuine AC Schnitzer item (I know, I have seen them in real life and it isn't even worth $149,99)... http://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-2013-BM...7c7b38&vxp=mtr A genuine AC Schnitzer diffuser for the F10 costs $875,- https://www.gmpperformance.com/index...ail&PID=231775 Doesn't make any difference whether the RKP lip is also made in China. Stealing intellectual property is stealing regardless of where it happens... Would a fake Rolex be more legal if it was faked in Switzerland? |

Why is this thread in the "M5 vs." section?

Price from ebay is appealing but remember fine if you are buying bits for a corsa or something similar but M5 you will have fitment issues along with inferior quality .. Like they say you get what you paid for ..you didn't skimp when buying M5 so if buying aftermarket bits you want the best and can most definitely vouch for Ind and their products not only in terms of oem fitment but their quality as well..and to top it their exemplary service
