We'll see...... they were supposed to finish the car today. Will hopefully be tomorrow and the begin break in.

Still have stock housings and will be limited, but have some turbo setup in mind...

Still going to use as my DD for now so I'll be happy pushing it as long as it's reliable and boost profile fits my driving style.

Congrats! Takes some getting used to the low compression motors. Sounds way better when warmed up!

Will be interested in driving it, especially since it's slightly bored out too.

Start up

Great work as usual by you guys hitting the upper limits of this car. I have a question - are those OEM quick-connects on the coolant hoses?

All of the coolant lines appear to have quick connects. Or, are they something else?

Enjoy! Give it some loaded WOT pulls (2-3K in 6th and 7th gear)... need to seat the rings. Careful not to overheat.. then glazing will occur and it will be an oil-consumer for life.

On mine after the two initial cycles (drive, cool down for several hours and overnight)... it was WOT within 50-80 miles on the new motor.

Yep, was over 60 miles and several days for heat cycle and haven't gotten in it yet. But getting some boost on it now in low RPM

Ram do you find that the engine makes way more snap, crackle, and popping sounds with our low compression motors now? Mine sounds way crazier now. So much fun!

Idle is louder and sounds wicked. WOT is louder but my setup is very different so can’t compare directly.

Cold idle isn’t the greatest...
