I would like to thank Peter @ Wheel Experts and Pepper @ Jotech Media for putting together the photo shoot.
The Wheels are 20” Modulare B18 forged monoblock wheels in the satin black finish - the wheels measure 20x9 front and 20x10.5 rear, and the OEM Michelin PSS tires were re-used. As posted before, my mod's are: IND Cosmetic Package - Frozen Black front grills - Frozen Black side gills + Sakhir Orange mesh + Dark LED's with frozen clear OEM Performance Spoiler with Sakhir Orange stripe Akrapovic Evolution exhaust with Carbon Fiber tips Depending on the light Sakhir looks very different. Anyway, enjoy the pictures.....

I was dreaming of a front lip to complete the F10 M5 ever sense seeing the first pics. As soon as I got the car I felt there was something missing and no puzzle piece existed.. Install was extremely easy 5-10 Min 4 8mm OEM screws 3m Tape pre drilled holes Remove factory hardware, Un wrap lip Peel off 3M backing, carefully place lip in position while aligning mounting holes. replace screws! Done! Its like RKP got in my head and made it better then I knew possible. The fit, finish and quality is top notch. Its hard for pictures to convey the respect to the existing body lines and keeping stock ground clearance, while adding an aggressive performance note. Im in love! Aloha Alex

I thought I'd post a few pics from a beautiful spring morning around Boston after my "week o'mods".
I generally like a stock look with subtle mods that only an enthusiast's eye would notice. Over the last few days, I installed H&R springs, body color side grilles and a body color RKP front splitter. Inside is Rogue's short-throw kit and IND's tri-color boot. For protection, I went with the Escort 9500ix + Escort Live and Laser Interceptor systems (all nicely integrated into the front grilles, rear lid and interior console). Upgraded audio and maybe exhaust are next . . . A few call outs: We all use Nate and Ilia's names so often that we take them for granted. But IND is almost the only name an M5 modder needs to know. Great, great guys. Also, I'm incredibly lucky to have Turner Motorsport in my backyard. Not only is their work superb, but you get to drool at a parking lot full of cool BMW street and race cars while you wait (and I got to play in one of their heavily modded M5s and a 1 Series ActiveE). Those of us in the Boston area know that some of the most anal audio and detector installers are at Sound in Motion. It takes a lot to "out-anal" me and, well . . . Finally, I've had the misfortune to befriend fellow M5Post member jmh. He's helping me with coding. A word of warning - DO NOT meet this man unless you have a secret bank account that your wife does not know about. I think each time I'll see jmh's M5, I'll spend another thousand dollars on something that I had no idea that I just had to have. Sick.

So last Saturday Boardwalk Ferrari held their annual Spring Consorso and I thought I would share a couple pictures that a local DFWAutoClub member (akbarber) took and was kind enough to share with me.
the link to the entire set is http://andrewbarber.smugmug.com/Cars...6794&k=53dZ2Fx

Today, I was fortunate to take delivery of an absolutely stunning 2014 LCI M5. It is a 40th birthday present to myself, albeit a bit early as my birthday is not until next month. Believe it or not, it was about a month and two days since I finalized the order to when the car arrived at my dealer. I had expected a bit longer, but nevertheless, I'm delighted to take delivery early. I'll at least have my 1200 mile break-in done by my birthday so I can really open it up!
A little bit about what I ordered: 2014 M5 LCI Sakhir Orange Metallic Sakhir Orange Full Merino Leather with Anthracite Alcantara Headliner ZCP Competition Package (with 2TX [601M] Wheels) ZDB Driver Assistance Plus ZEC Executive Package ZLP Lighting Package 6F2 Bang & Olufsen Sound System 6UK Night Vision I skipped on the ceramic brakes and rear seat entertainment system. I'm coming from an E60 550i with Sport Package. Needless to say, the two don't compare. I haven't yet had a chance to really stretch its legs... I'll be doing that this weekend. Plus, I've got to figure out the myriad of settings and what I prefer. I did manage to snap a few pictures though. Some folks requested specific pictures, which I'm including below. And yes, there's a shot of the seat buttons! One thing I will mention (as I did in a previous post), the Sakhir Orange is an absolutely stunning color. At the last minute, I changed from Individual Azurite Black and full black interior to SO on full SO. I wanted something bold, and I got it! As so many have said about SO, pictures just can't capture it quite right. I really was concerned it was going to be too loud of a color, not to mention too much SO. It is bold, but in a good way. I would describe it as tasteful and not in your face. It's not everyone's cup of tea, I'm sure, but I love it and that's all that counts! As for what's next, I will be tinting the windows and maybe doing a little shopping at iND (living in the Chicago area has its benefits). Painted side markers are a given, and I'm still torn on some of the other tidbits of chrome... stay or go? Oh, the iDrive touchpad is nice. I noticed it recognizes characters quite well and surprisingly quick. Necessary? Probably not. I can probably spin the wheel just as fast if not faster than writing in a letter. Maybe it will be more useful the more I use it. The responsiveness of the iDrive, the animations, and the functionality is vastly improved over even my E89 Z435is (and worlds apart from the E60). The comp package exhaust is sweet, though I can't compare because it has been so long since I test drove a 2013 M5. Regardless, though, I will post more thoughts once I've had a chance to really test it out... within the confines of a proper break-in of course! I'm also excited to check out the effectiveness of the LED headlights once the sun goes down! (In looking at these pictures, the colors are far too saturated. The conversion from Canon RAW to jpg really punched up the saturation.) |

We just had the chance to see AttyGunther's F10 M5 (LCI) in person at iND. One of the best color combos and the new Performance wheels look amazing in person (photos don't do them justice) The Beast will be back at iND for some new mods

Has for almost 4 years. Finally posting a pic after lurking here a while (and never posted in the forum before). First picture is how she looks now. Last 2 were last year (different grill and carbon fiber mirror caps).
