What will you do with your M5 F10 when M5 F90 is now available ??

Hi Everyone,
I'm a current owner of a M5 F10 CP and I must say that I'm very disappointed with the new M5 F90 in terms of performance especialy concerning performance against the E63s.
BMW had almost one year more to make the M5 F90 much faster than E63s.
The E63s has 100nm of torque more than the M5 so that's why it's faster... In addition in my opinion there is very little improvement over the M5 F10 in many aspects apart form the fact that it's 4WD and it launches much better.
I presume that Competition Package with 15hp more will not help either...

I love my M5. Currently have exhaust on it. Getting new wheels, KW HAS kit installed and some coding. I'm keeping her and enjoying the hell out of it until I no longer need four doors. Then I'll move to a GTR or Porsche.

Moving on to Porsche after I get bored with F10, which is 1-2 years away. That 991 turbo looks like a blast!!

I am the extreme outlier of this group when I say that I will be keeping my F10, but in the future, I can't really say what else I will get.

I will say that the F90 really doesn't float my boat. I'm hoping for a re-birth of the BMW M5 with the G90 Generation, a car that will "hopefully" feature an all new engine from ///M, even if it is taken from a regular BMW engine again. Too early to say what that new engine might be, but I think that ///M should take my advice and offer a small displacement 3.0L Twin Turbo V10 (that revs to 8,500rpm) combined with a hybrid electric drivetrain system with ///M xDrive Technology to put the power to the ground. This way we'll have a small exotic engine to offset the weight of the batteries that will be added to the car for the electric propulsion system. And the electric instant torque will make up for the lack of torque from a smaller displacement engine. Total power rating would be 650hp and 600tq, all the while making the chassis even lighter with prodigious use of aluminum and CFRP. If Jaguar can make its new i-Pace Electric Car with a 94% aluminum chassis, then BMW should be able to do this too.

Until ///M Division makes such an M5, I'm probably just going to wait for used prices on 2017 Audi R8 V10's (Non-Plus) versions to fall below $120k. Then I'll get one of those and straightpipe it. Until then, my F10 M5 is truly exciting and will keep me happy for years and years to come. Also, DCT is way more exciting to drive than ZF8 Auto, always will be for me.

Thinking of getting a 991 Turbo S, i love the M5 F10 but the car is way too big, i thought the feeling would get away with time but it still feels like a boat.

Wait for lease to end in 6 months and more than likely order an F90 M5.

I made this transition. For a daily driver, you won't look back. Saw the F90 today at my dealer. Really disappointed in how boring the car looks. To the average eye almost the same as the F10.

Is the CTS-V really that bad? It never gets mentioned.
