Did all of the MSR tunes done for you guys require that the DME's be sent to George? Or did he do a group tune? Really interested in pulling the trigger.

We had to have ours shipped. He offered to fly down but we were in such a hurry we pulled the DMEs and overnighted it there and back. Too 3-4 days in total. Removal of DME wasn't bad.

If you don't do it yourself costs are as follows.

$100-$130 for DME removal and install.
$250 - for shipping there and back. (Overnight)

Plus tune costs

I'm waiting for OBD II tuning. I have a feeling that when the next gen m5 is out someone will magically crack the code.

I suspect the next G series will be difficult to crack too with new encryption.

For all of you guys wondering about the Stage 3 tune...umm good lord if you're considering doing it you need to go ahead and do it now! George @m6beast just took me for a spin with the MSR Charge pipes, intake and stage 3 tune and it literally threw me back in my seat. It scared the crap out of me but gave me an adrenaline rush at the same time! You guys won't be disappointed! It was depressing getting back into my stock M5 with just 560hp...made me feel like I was driving a 4 cylinder Camry
