Hello everyone! Quick adivce on a lease

Hello everyone!

Long time lurker and a much longer M5 fan. I have never had an MSeries, First car was a E60 535xi now I'm in a F10 550xi Msport with Dinan Stage 2.
But I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a '14 M5 with MCB Silverstone interior Driver Assist, Executive, Competition package with 601 Wheels. I'm doing my first European Delivery which according to this board is the only way to do it.

Was wondering what are you opinions on this lease deal i received
58% Residual
0.00111 MF with MSD
Invoice of 96,442
Monthly payment of 1080 + Tax

congrats! sounds like a great build. need more info though...

how many miles per year, how many MSDs are you doing?

$96.4 sounds pretty close to $1000 over invoice (mental math in my head, working back from my car), so that sounds like a pretty good deal.

ok then.. your residual sounds right for the miles then (and is awesome compared to what I got).

as for MSDs... 7 should give you .00049 off of the rate... the base rate for 2013-14 used to be .00127. Then they add a .00030 for ED.. so your rate should be .00108 I believe, unless the base rate has changed -- my dealer's F&I guy tried to pull a fast one on me here too, so make sure you've got the lowest price too.

Finally, I would seriously, seriously consider adding LED lights... I have xenons on my 13 335 and LEDs on the M5... both a great, but the adaptive LEDs when fully coded are one of the best pieces of the technology on the car!

Glad my ED report helped! I was just paying it forward from the great ones I've read from other members here... make sure you do the same.

$96,400 seems way off for invoice on this car. Base is $92,900; add $5,500 for Executive Package, $1,900 for the Drivers Assistance and $7,300 for the CP and you get an invoice of $107,600. And that is without the $1300 gas guzzler tax and the $975 destination charge.

so with ED invoice including guzzler and destination I show him right at $2000 above invoice. With new base rate sounds like his numbers check out!

LED lights really that good ? Saw a video on them and all it seems to do is turn your high beams on or off. Adjust the angle etc.. i don't know.. I'm sort of on a "Budget" but then again i got everything else whats another 1,900.00... But i think ill pass just doesn't seem worth it to me just like the B&O sound system but i maybe wrong.

Why July? Is that when your dealer has an allocation or is that when you are available to go to Germany?

awesome build, congrats! do it! i too was on the fence about the LED's, but i pulled the trigger to get them on my build. you've got several months to worry about the fine details of your deal and by July there might be a few more loyalty sweeteners from BMW FS with the summer sales...

Can you elaborate more? What do you mean by "fully coded"? How does LED lights differ from xenons with and without being fully coded?
