M5 2008 with 33,000 miles
I'm a current 535i 2011 owner love the car but thinking about trading it in for M5 I have test driven the M5 awesome car, love the V10 sound, but was concerned about warranty. I have found one with 6 years 100,000 the dealer is asking $52,000. found another 2008 with 37,000 miles on it, dealer asking 49,000 but it's not BMW certified, how much to certified?
any issues with 2008 and 2009 M5 what is a good price? or wait a year for the new M5 to drop in price? thanks |

This is a wrong sub-forum, I'm not familiar with US prices but both deals seem a little more expensive than they should be, the car itself is great but with 100,000 miles (160,000 km?) those seem like prices a year ago and a little high.

Combination of factors.
Controversial styling by bangle, pea sized fuel tank, not a huge amount of low end grunt. I wouldn't say problems, but its like comparing the E34 M5 to the E39 M5. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the E34 M5, but it just so happened to go up against what many consider to the the most beautiful BMW sedan ever. |

I had Ã* lot of problems with the SMG. Its only satisfying when driving high rev. And always in s6. People know that. And the fuel consumption....dont have to say anything about that. there is no way that you can compare my F10 M5 with my E60 M5. Its Ã* difference like winter and summer. Btw I love the E39 too. |
