I'm probably showing my age, but I was glad to get back into my 535d - it has all the power and torque I need when I want to play, but it's supremely relaxing and easy to live with, especially on long drives.
My new X3 35D m Sport with 313BHP is the same, easy to live with and very quick.

YEP +7 Deg is right, my X3 35D MS has dunlop winter sports 245/45/18 at the moment till temps rise, they are very good.

The only way to drive the M5 on public roads even in summer weather is to go MDM. I just tried it and it's the only way to put power down without DSC intervening prematurely. Wouldn't advise going with DSC off though.

I love the issue addressed in this thread. Such tough choices we face in life, to MDM or not to MDM?

It's a pretty cool problem to have too much power. Whatever resolutions, just drive those beasts safe!
