WEIRD headlight issue!

Here is some crazy behavior for ya. Left blinker started misbehaving, bimmerlink gives me a tms module code. Ok, I need a tms module. Then yesterday me and fiance are heading to the dragstrip and pull up behind a pickup with chrome bumper. Wait. I have the right blinker on and BOTH ARE BLINKING. WTF? Like my emergency flashers are on! How the hell does that happen? And now I know my left blinker isn't bad. I pulled over and read it with bimmerlink, cleared codes(left tms code immediately comes back), still does it. No codes on the right side. I'm going to disconnect the battery and reconnect, see it that changes anything.

Anyone ever hear of this?
