Engine Misfires DME2 Cylynder 5 To 8
I Need Help Regarding Engine Misfires on DME 2 Cylynder 5 to 8
It started when I was at a stop light and suddenly the car started shaking and I Drive showed an Engine Malfunction. Car has a full tank of gas. Parked the car and re started it again. The shaking disappeared and the error went away. I have been driving the car for two days now and the error has not come back. Dealer replaced the spark plugs 5 thousand miles ago at 53k Miles What's the culprit? Bad Gas Bad Injectors or bad Coils? Thanks for the help.

These things happen... its when it re-occurs consistently is when to be concerned. Check your bank 2 air filter.

It's been 2 days now and the car drives normally and I also tried a 3rd gear pull and its still strong and no misfires. I will check the bank 2 air filter as per your recommendation. Thanks for the help.

'damaging exhaust gas after starting up'-- Check your O2 sensors. Clean the MAF's.
