Event Data Recorder (EDR)

I was not aware of this. Are EDR records permanent, or just a short recordings? Anyone has experience with this?

just assume your car can record everything you're doing.

a local guy down here got into an accident a few months ago in his m5, they pulled the. boxes and it is said that he was going over 130 at the time of the crash, which killed his friend.

Can info from a week ago be pulled, or is it just last 30 seconds can be use before an event occurs
