Took the M 5 out this morning for some spirited driving and not 1 time did I wish I had a Dct, even when the back end was coming around in MDM. There's nothing like coming into a sharp corner and hitting that downshift just right. The beauty with the m5 is it has so much torque you can leave it in third or fourth and not have to shift on back roads if you please, depending on how fast you are going.

Cool weather performance will be better one because the turbos perform better with cold air, and cooling is not an issues. Tires will not hook up in the cold so be careful, or you may be face to face with a tree game over. Turbo spool up will spin the tires due to the boost, and all that good ole torque.

M6 is usually a hair quicker than the M5,
