Issues you've had with your car
Bought my 2013 M5 with 90,000 miles on it last year. Other than misfires from BM3 Stage 2 the car has driven excellent!
Well last night, my car started losing traction and traction control was kicking on. Eventually oil pressure light turned on so i immediately pulled off to the side of the road and shut the engine down. Oil covered the entire bottom of the car and wheel wells. After taking the belly pan off I noticed the oil cooler line stud snapped off? What would cause this? Hopefully the engine is OK! |

Sounds like someone messed with that oil cooler stud. Check for any tool marks in that area. And inspect everything else. Guessing you're probably fine as long as you shut it off early enough.

I agree with infurno, but also without any pictures, our help is limited. Has any work been done to the car lately? I don't envy you in getting that oil mess cleaned up.
Please post back when you get it repaired. |
