Along those same lines, did you just valet your new M5 at all the hotels? Valets give me the willies.

We left the car at the hotel and took the train, which was about 3 stops.

Finally, can someone link the story behind the "infamous atlantic blue m3" ? I'm curious about what happened and can't find the thread

Price wise it wasn't good, but the experience was great.

So many cool cars in there. I would be ok sleeping on the floor at the museum instead of the hotel.

OOps, looks like my answer was included in your quoted text previously.
We left the car at the Hotel and took the train around Munich.

Awesome post and awesome pictures. I noticed that you were at the Welt the same day as my wife and I. I was there picking up my M3 on the 8th, the day that you did the museum tour and factory tour. Looking through your pictures, I realized that I was in the same factory tour as you (the 1145 english speaking tour). Then I looked through more of your pictures and I saw my car. My car is the Space Grey E92 M3 that you have pictures of on the showroom floor. Now I have pictures of me doing my victory lap! Thanks for your awesome post and for the pictures of my car. Looks like a fantastic trip.

What was your thought about the tour?

My email is planes87@gmail.com. Thanks in advance for the pictures. As for the tour, I thought about the same thing as you. I definitely thought it was worthwhile, but I feel like once you have seen it, it would be the same every time. The part that I liked the most was seeing the engine shop. The tour did seem a little "cookie-cutter" though.

Its a shame BMW do not offer factory collections for UK customers, I have done it with Porsche and I know Mercedes offer it.....

Thanks for sharing your experience!
They probably don't trust you guys to drive on the wrong side of the road.

That's too funny cause I saw those pics and thought hey that's me and my wife's victory lap in our Space Gray E92 M3! Then realized the dates were different since we took delivery May 2nd. Even the plates were really similar so I had my face against the screen to double check. Lol
I still need to figure out how to post all my pics too.
Love the M5, OP and my twin M3, greentrbo!

There was a large population of Arabic people and a lot of the signs were in Arabic.
