Map sensor diy
Does anyone know of a easy way to get to the map sensors so I can replace them.

#3 on the diagram. It's on each side of the intercoolers. Also circled in the picture.

Maybe MissionPerformance , BPMSport , or dmetuning can hint on how to access the other two. I can't seem to find a good diagram to show how to access them.
I thought you were talking about those sensors near the intercoolers.

There is not a "short cut. Erik @ Autohaus Frankfurt replaced mine and a few other M's I have seen there. Took him about 3 hours to replace all 4 map sensors. |

For the bottom ones you have to pull the undercar covers, belly pan among other things. It's also on top of the intake manifolds and things are very tight down there...

It's a PITA to change. Depends on size of forearms, I got cut bad lol. First time it took me 2.5 hours, now I can fix this up in around 45-60 minutes.
This is the correct picture, number 9 on this pic. You don't need to change all 4, those located on intercoolers are 3.5 bar already, these located on intake manifolds are 2.5 bar. |

Allows you to increase boost over the current stock limitations.

Halim/HCP told me this doesn't apply to the S63, so now I'm just that much more jealous of you S63TU guys
