Map sensor diy

Does anyone know of a easy way to get to the map sensors so I can replace them.

Should be able to access them once you remove the intakes which is easy to do. Loosen the intake hoses, unbolt the one screw on each intakes box and pull them out. You should then able to see the map sensors on each side. Just disconnect the wire to it and again using a T20 or T25 torq bit, remove the two screws and pull it out.

#3 on the diagram. It's on each side of the intercoolers. Also circled in the picture.

Maybe MissionPerformance , BPMSport , or dmetuning can hint on how to access the other two. I can't seem to find a good diagram to show how to access them.

I thought you were talking about those sensors near the intercoolers.

The MAP sensors in the intake manifold are not that easy to replace.
There is not a "short cut.
Erik @ Autohaus Frankfurt replaced mine and a few other M's I have seen there. Took him about 3 hours to replace all 4 map sensors.

For the bottom ones you have to pull the undercar covers, belly pan among other things. It's also on top of the intake manifolds and things are very tight down there...

It's a PITA to change. Depends on size of forearms, I got cut bad lol. First time it took me 2.5 hours, now I can fix this up in around 45-60 minutes.

This is the correct picture, number 9 on this pic.

You don't need to change all 4, those located on intercoolers are 3.5 bar already, these located on intake manifolds are 2.5 bar.
