Most dealers will try to give you that $5k and make you think you got a good deal meanwhile they really sold it at msrp coz that $5k didn't come out of their pocket.

.9% is great! Rate is 1.9% here in Ontario, but we get .75% off for BMW loyalty. So it works out to be 1.15% which isn't bad still!
The ad was at the dealer on the build sheet. Didn't take a pic sorry. Also I think the Calgary market is hurting so they want to unload the expensive stock. These guys are pushing deals out the door. Even Alpina B6 has $10k off and probably more on the table.

Ask that to Ferrari 599 6MT owners now. Their car has doubled MSRP since there is so few of them now. Same applies to F430 and F360.

I would not worry about resale value when buying a car IMHO.

However, if the reviews are bad for the M5 equipped with the 6MT, well that is another story...

lol are you really comparing a Ferrari 6MT to an M5 6MT?

The wholesaler didn't say that all 6MT have bad resell values. He was referring to just the M5 in 6MT.

For example, my 6MT R8 V10 is worth at least 5k more than a comparable R Tronic (similar to SMG) which is funny because those R Tronic R8s were 10k more when new when compared to a 6MT at the time.

I am comparing same model for Ferrari (F1 vs man) like your R8 example (the M3 SMG is another example: manual was cheaper and now the manual is more expensive).

Bottom line: don't listen to wholesalers. All they want is to sell what they have

In addition to this, I am told I have until March 31st to pick up the vehicle, that is how long this program is in place until.

Let me know how you make out...I am curious what they tell you.

PM Me your dealership, I am curious who you are dealing with if you don't want to say it here

See screenshot from BMW website with the $5000 credit
Thanks to SlammedR8 for reminding me of the $5000.00 delivery credit. I was able to get the $5000.00 credit by my sales person on top of the other discounts and negotiated pricing.

Thanks again.
