Downpipe cel code

I just ordered vrsf catless downpipes on a 14 m5 and was wondering if it would throw any cel codes. I heard about big daddies mini cat and was wondering if anyone has used them and can say if they work or not.

Thanks

I have not heard of a catless downpipe that didnt set a CEL yet.
You'll more then likely need a tune and if your going catless I assume you will anyways

I bought the car with a bpm tune already installed on it and I am not sure if it'll auto clear cel codes, was wondering if this big daddies mini cat would do the trick

You should contact BPM, Mike is on this forum and he can let you know.
If its a catless file then it'll be good to go
I dont know about the mini cat question, I have not experienced it myself.

The tune is set up for catless down pipes, but clear the codes and run it. For some reason we were still getting secondary 02 sensor faults. But I think that was related to something else entirely. By running the stock exhaust with the new down pipes you can begin troubleshooting.
