Thx for your input! Like how many launches using LC the stock rear axles can hold? And how much it cost to you each one?

On the third launch it broke at the line. I didn't even use lc I just slammed the gas and go. I then had them upgraded by dss. Then I broke one of them also. The axles cost 1200$ for the upgrade. I'm also not stock I'm running a stage 3 tune.

Axles -> Diff Mount -> Driveshaft -> Diff itself

Upgrade the Axles and the diff mount... should be fine!

When the axle broke, did you twist the actual axle until it broke or did the CV joint break? Was the break the same for both stock and DSS axles? Could you describe what the break looked like, or even better, have pictures?

Wow, what did DSS have to say about the failure? Great pictures, thanks. I wonder if the left side failures tell us anything about the way the diff engages its clutch pack? You haven't done any drastic quarter mile suspension changes have you? Just a thought, did the stock axle with the broken bearing cage show any sign of twisting without breaking?

Dss only covers there work. The two other pieces are stock and not supposed to break lol. Dss only replaces the cage and shaft the two other ends are stock. They said the will cover the repairs but not the parts. Which is fair in my opinion. The stock axles never twisted just snapped. I DO think it’s the way the differential engages the clutch pack. I was thinking of putting a switch on the actuator. I was going to start a poll on which side people have broken a axle.
