The drone might drive you nuts. Test drive a car with the Turner exhaust installed on the highway at cruising speeds and then you will be able to make a decision. Not worth cutting your exhaust if you get a result you weren't expecting.
I completely agree!

I'm considering the performance exhaust with the mufflers... How does it sound? Do you have downpipes?

Installed the turner mufflers yesterday (thanks Timberwolf). I like it much better than stock since I can actually hear the car now. You also can't go wrong with the price. That said I like it but don't love it. Doesn't sound nearly as good as my E92 M3 did with exhaust. I feel it needs more high end growl. Thinking about getting rid of those mild resonators. Any one know if that would help? Or any other suggestions? I don't want to mess with the down pipes as I likely won't have the car that much longer and don't want to pour money into it.

Pls don't do that, last time when I tried doing that & the growl at the low rpm make u sick end up I need to weld them back. Exhaust set up is very individual so some like some don't.

Removing the resonators made that much a difference with the turner? From what I've read it doesn't make much of an impact on the stock setup, in fact the competition pack exhaust doesn't even have them.

Did you end up removing the resonators? I am running a muffler delete and recently deactivated the active sound which virtually eliminated drone. I am now considering removing the resonators to get a bit more sound. However, I am concerned that I will introduce more drone. Anyone have experience in this regard?

p.s. deactivating the active sound made the muffler delete that much better. Sound quality inside the cabin is greatly improved. Took less than 10 minutes to unplug the adapter.

No I didn't end up removing the resonators (only because I got busy and forgot about it). But I did disconnect the active sound and agree with you 100 percent. I was about to get rid of the Turner because I hated how it sounded in the cabin until I turned off the active sound and now I really enjoy it. Couldn't believe how big a difference it made.
