Can any one identify what this button is for

Right under the temperature nop, anyone know what that button is for, in my manual it shows a small vent there, btw 2013 M5

Believe its an ambient temp sensor for the cabin.

lol don’t think that didn’t cross my mind, on my 07 530xi the ashtray would never quite sit flat in its place so one day I decided to see what’s obstructing it and to my surprise there was a little push button almost exactly like that one and of course I pushed it and got a “sport”’message on the cluster, it was like winning the lottery
