Sole Performance vs Turner straight through exhaust

My 2014 6MT Competition finally showed up today! Had to tow it from where the truck could offload it.

I will keep this car mainly stock (I don't know that it will appreciate greatly but it probably will not depreciate either given how rare the 6MT-competition combo is) but could use an axle-back exhaust.

What are people's thoughts on Sole Performance vs Turner straight through exhausts? The former has resonators. $225 price difference...

I have the soul. Its great. Especially if you don't want to do downpipes because its pretty loud already with just the soul. These cars don't need much exhaust work. It was that one mod that the car really needed.

cell phone clips will never do it justice.

I have the Soul with slant cut black tips, paired with Evolution Racerworks catless DP’s. Sounds incredible.

My one critique on the soul system is that the tips stick very far out of the diffuser - even at the shortest setting. I shortened my collectors so the tips would sit perfectly flush with the diffuser wings. Took about 2hrs to make it perfect, but well worth it to me!

First pic: shortest available setting from Soul
Second pic: shortened 1 1/8”

I agree that making them flush is a significant improvement based on your pics!

Turner is not getting much love in the survey. Has someone actually heard it in person?

Slanted tips are my preferred style.

Not Soul or Turner related but I prefer the exhaust endings protruding just a little.

See how the logo isn’t evenly covered? That drives me crazy! It’s why I prefer the tucked slanted tips
