BMW F10 M5 Redefined By D2FORGED Wheels
Just dropped the new shoot on our site and it's a beautiful Monte Carlo Blue Metallic BMW M5 from D2FORGED Wheels. This I gotta share with you! Talked with the owner, this thing has 21x11 at the rear with only 21lbs of weight. Here's a few snaps, drop by the site for the full shoot. And yeah, my new wallpaper is among these.

I hate pictures like these. Makes me realize how much I hate myself for not changing to Monte Carlo Blue in time before my car went 150 status.
But yeah, beautiful.

Want me to be completely honest here? My general dilemma was between Sakhir Orange and Monte Carlo Blue ... it still is, but this is making me lean over a bit. But black definitely works!

Car looks stunning. Wheels look massive...looks larger than 21".
Got to be very tricky navigating the potholes, train tracks, etc around NYC. What suspension changes did you make? |

Is it me, or does the M5 in these pictures look superimposed on the image scene. Something just doesn't seem natural about these pictures.

Well from what I hear, there are dozens of cars like this with their wheels on, roaming NYC roads each day, so I figure no problems there. Hey this is not my car, D2 guys are friends and they sponsor my website so I get their build photos and info all the time. From what I know their setups usualy go 20's to above, drive on NYC roads and not a problem with it. One correction for the wheels, it's 25lbs for a 22x11 rear setup. Still light though! |

That's true there. I've talked with owners of the showcased wheel company and besides all the usual test data I believe the biggest selling point for forged wheels is that these are daily driven on those roads. No test data needed there if they survive the roads in NYC though.
