Changing over to winter wheels- tips, tricks?

Hey guys... Changing wheels is straight-forward... Just wondering if anyone has come across anything specific to the M5/F10 that was out of the ordinary....?

If you are running square on 19" 408M wheels, the front & rear is the same width size but different offset. Therefore, you must make sure the shop knows which are for the front & rear, otherwise, you will have fitment issues (clearance of calipers).

If you are running aftermarket 19", there is no known ones out there that will clear the front brake caliper. Be careful of what you are buying. Having the identical 19" OEM same offset and width do not guarantee fitment as the inner barrel contour plays a major role in proper clearance.

Yup - IS32 on Front and IS25 on the back - look for the markings inside (backside) of the wheel.
I run 37 psi at about 50 degrees garage temp.
103 lb/ft torque - recheck after 100 miles or so.

Just changed them all yesterday - had my daughter help me - told her before she can learn to get behind the wheel...she's got to learn to change one.

Thanks CFisher!

Are your wheels marked differently? Two have marking on the center hub. The other two have markings on the spokes. The ones that are marked on the spokes are made by BBS. The other ones have made in Italy.
Seems odd.

Mine are marked similarly to each other - around the back side of the wheel hub - sorry -- not taking them off until about March! I don't think there was anything marked on the spokes.
My 408Ms literally have IS32 & IS25 designations cast into the hub.
