KW v3 - Share your (more aggressive) settings

Installed KW V3's a couple weeks ago and extremely impressed with overall ride quality and handling. Still on the factory settings but want to start playing with a more aggressive setup. I'm interested to hear what other have tried and personal feedback.

Current setting

Front: Rebound 6 / Bump 4
Rear : Rebound 9 / Bump 5

Thanks in advance

Are the V3's the set that still allow for EDC functionality or is that a different KW set? I forget.

Tanin,

Is it possible to make the ride more comfy and smooth than a stock non cp ride?

Thanks in advance!

The V3's delete EDC.
Dinan Coil-overs retain EDC

"Comfy and smooth" is defined differently by each driver.
What is your default preference with suspension setting: Comfort / Sport / Sport + ? That will help?

When I on was on stock CP suspension I lived in Sport + and thought "Comfort" made the car drive like a cira 80"s Cadillac Eldorado.

Not sure if that helps but might give a point of reference.

Well, I drive mostly on comfort because on sport setting ride becomes stiffer and harsher over road imperfections (not potholes). Thinking maybe kw v3 may ride over road imperfections softer smother however stay planted and not bulky.

You probably have perfect roads to drive in sport+

I have kwv3

Pond for pound even set on stock setting v3 are smoother and better than all stock settings. Once set to more aggressive they still are butta compared to stock. Now. I used to have HR and loved them way over stock and still do til this day. Dave the edc deletes the light and I never missed not pushing the shock buttons. No need to as the kwv3 are that good.

Just having fitted a set of KW V3's I'd be interested in a sport setting. I have moved from CP to Dinan and now V3 and don't want soft or comfort. I was happy with a 964RS on the road a few years ago, something more like an M3 with Bilsteins is right for how I like to drive and feel the road

Is this factory settings ?

Front: Rebound 6 / Bump 4
Rear : Rebound 9 / Bump 5

I have moved around quite a bit and have settled on F rebound 5/ Bump 4, rear rebound 9/ bump 5. I will continue to experiment each setting change makes a noticeable difference. As soon as you go up on these the car feels a little fidgety and I have yet to find a balance with stiffer settings. Increasing the front one setting on bumps a worthwhile improvement IMO
