certifying required more work and off the bat, i think they have to replace the tires if its under the threshold, which is pretty to achieve. of chourse, this will require checking a bunch of other things and replacing them if they meet minimum requirement specs.

i think you can also just purchase an extended warranty that can go up to 6 years/100k miles. you'll be buying the car as it stands obviously. this will give you the coverage you want post new car warranty.

i think the latter will be a cheaper option if you really want this car.

I dont know who your sales guy there is but I bought my 535i with Rob Dedominico there. Decent sales guy and works hard to help you. Although he was not able to get me the best price from his managers, he did try his best to work with my budget.

In all honestly, you cant really beat the asking price so for them to play hard ball is justified... but the CPO price is rediculous. if you can get the extended warranty, that can cover you on the bigger expense. Just be ready to fork out a few thousand once you get it for tires, and other things that is wear and tear.

They will probably offer the wheels and tires package to you upon purchase. that would be up to your discretion but the Pirelli or Michellin 20" tires are pretty solid and not that prone to bubbling unlike the Goodyear tires the 535M sport comes with.

As other mentioned, make sure the service record and carfax checks out.

Op, go look at the 2013 m5 at BMW of Chatanooga. It also has the maintenance plan on it for 100k miles.

Thanks. That's my car and that's why I know that it has the prepaid maintenance on it and it's CPO.
