Definately M5 mule. Rear fenders appear to have more flare from the rear. No intercooler so there is naturally aspirated hope. Wheels look sick.

it has been already offically confirmed that the M5 will share the same motor as the X6/5 Ms... so twin turbo V8.

Also you can clearly see that the car in the opening post and the car in the Nurburgring testing pictures are both M5s (quad exhausts, massive brakes, same wheel tire combo, big diff, etc) but they DO NOT have the same body kit.

The opening post car has basically a stock 5 series kit on it... with no rear fender flares, the exhaust sticks way out of the rear bumper, stock front bumper...

The car on the track looks like it has more body that is closer to production... with flared rear arches, and M-ish bumpers

The brakes alone on both cars basically guarantee that they are M5 mules... massive!

I never understood why Mercedes released their AMG series immediately after releasing the base. Audi seems to do the same thing, there is never a period of time between the releases. 3, 5, or 6 series comes out, then at least a year later the M is released. Makes it a lot more desirable

The gap between the release of regular F10 5-series and the F10 M5 will be shorter than traditionally. Same thing is likely to happen for the next 3-series and M3.

+1, absolutely right. The size and length of these exhaust pipes, plus breaks, and bumper confirmed it for me that this was an m5. For us to see it now, that means we will see it sooner than the usual 2year wait after each redesigned model.

According to Car Magazine, F10 M5 will arrive in early 2011 with V8 engine.
Car sounds great.

That could just be the V8 mule. They might have a V10 mule out there. We need more video!

The f10 5 series spotted in a highway near Valencia:

Also a Mini was around there:

Seems they are using the area for massive testing of all the group.

It is because Audi and Mercedes just put a big engine and that is all. But BMW puts a masterpeace under the hood, tunes the chassis, lightens the car,.....BMW just does it much better that is why it takes more time. M3 has less power the C 63 AMG, and 2 traction wheels less than RS4 but is the fastest around the track.

Nice!

Those are BBS wheels, and probably not production wheels.

Quite right, this isn't an M5. It's a snow cone on wheels.

Seriously dude, you need to look at the evidence.

Nose that's similar to the M3..................check.
Quad pipes ........................................check.
Ultra wide tyres on light weight rims........check.
Huge vented cross-drilled brakes............check.
Bonnet hump.......................................check.
