With the ACS lowering springs,

1) does the EDC function still work (comfort/normal/sport) ?
2) is handling affected ?
No questions are dumb. The lowering springs will not effect you factory adaptive suspension. Everything will work as normal. The Ac-Schnitzer lowering springs give the car a nice drop without compromising the factory ride. They ride just like OEM stock springs just a little bit firmer which is nice.

David,

I finally got my M5. Do you guys still have the ACS springs at the price mentioned here? Thanks.

I'll second that, I have ACS on my F10 M5 and the ride is slightly firmer but very "OEM" and the handling and looks are improved, very well thought out set of springs.

Recommended.

Thanks for your input on the ACS springs. Are you using the stock wheels? If so, can you post a pic of your setup? I'm thinking about going this route. Thanks.

I am using stock 20" 343m wheels with 12" spacers all round on ACS springs.

My photography skill leave a lot to be desired but here you go:
